Security

Peru is a safe country, especially in tourist areas where the police presence is noticeable. But the poverty that is found in the country generates as little crime everywhere (pickpockets, robberies, minor aggression, etc.); it is therefore recommended to take the basic precautions necessary to avoid an unfortunate situation.
