It was in the year 2000 that Darcy and Olivier met in Bolivia on their bike, both exploring the Americas. From the US-Mexico border to the confines of Argentine Patagonia, they traveled thousands of miles, each on their own, eager to discover the enchanting cultures and landscapes of Latin America. At the heart of their experiences, the Andes have definitely left their mark and marked the two travelers.
In 2004, Darcy founded TransAndes.
His dream? That of living to dream others, build tailor-made trips to the most remote corners of the Andes. As this dream took shape, he called Olivier, eternal traveling companion, to join this new adventure. Today TransAndes organizes tailor-made trips to Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Colombia ... wherever the Andes stand!
