Total cancellation of the trip from you
Any interruption of the trip by decision of the participant (for reasons of health, level, or other) does not entitle to any refund of the deposit or domestic flights issued by Transandes Bike. Any unused and non-refundable benefits will also be the responsibility of the participant. Any additional costs incurred by the participant will not be reimbursed. Following a medical repatriation by the assistance of the participant, the unused benefits can be refunded, if you have subscribed cancellation insurance, according to the terms of the contract with your insurer.
Cancellation by Transandes Bike
In the case of a cancellation by us in case of force majeure (eg events constituting force majeure: unforeseeable and insurmountable incidents or events such as: wars, political unrest, strikes, riots, weather conditions, natural disasters etc., which would not provide the minimum security conditions). In this case, the customer will be informed immediately by e-mail. The customer will then have the choice between:
- the total reimbursement of the amount of the land portion of the trip less bank charges and any non-refundable expenses incurred by Transandes Bike.
- or the transfer of amounts paid on another trip of his choice; he can not then claim any compensation.
If you have not taken out cancellation insurance for your international ticket, Transandes Bike can not be held responsible and will not intervene in the reimbursement of it.
Refund on the land portion after full payment
In case of cancellation by you more than 45 days before departure, the full value of the entire stay will be refunded, minus the amount of the deposit, the amount of domestic flights, the file fee per person, as well as any other non-refundable benefits. Bank transaction fees incurred for the reimbursement will be borne by the participant.
In case of cancellation between 45 days and 21 days before your departure, a refund of up to 50% of the total value of the stay will be refunded, if the sum of the values of the deposit, domestic flights, administration fees, non-refundable services and bank charges are less than or equal to 50% of the total value of the stay. Otherwise the refund will be made to the amount of the remaining amount after deduction of non-refundable benefits and expenses.
In case of cancellation by you 20 days or less before your departure, the non-presentation at the appointment of the beginning of the stay or the interruption of the trip on your part for any reason whatsoever, will not give rise to any refund.
